Position TITLE:    Chemical DEPENDENCY COUNSELOR/youth preventio= n

SALARY:   = ;            &= nbsp;   $22.50 hourly 1 FTE &nbs= p;     

 

<= span style=3D'font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt'>REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES = INCLUDE:. The incumbent will be providing substance

abuse prevention and intervention services to adolescents and transitional age youth; ensuring compliance with

alcohol and other drug programs, court orders, etc., and facilitating school based recovery suppor= t.

Prepare and facilitate= research-based curriculum as assigned with specific attention to prevention programming wi= th

Skokomish Tribal commu= nity adolescents and transitional age youth.&nb= sp; Comprehensive case management for

drug/alcohol treatment= , from patient admission to discharge. Assist with development, implementation and=

facilitation of instructional strategies as assigned in support of wrap around programming. Assist in planning and

implementing drug/alco= hol prevention activities for the community. Complete all documentation in a ti= mely and

detailed manner; inclu= ding session notes and participant sign-in sheets, project management forms,

curriculum/lesson plan= s, facilitator assessments, and other documentation/reports as required to maintain State

compliance<= /span>

 =

  &nbs= p;         MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

1.      = Current certification = as Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP) from the department of health.<= /o:p>

  1. Bachelor’s = degree in health, human services or related field, and one year of clinical experience as a State certified Chemical Dependency Professional =
  2. Valid driver̵= 7;s license, proof of automob= ile insurance .pass a pre-employment drug test .and a finger print backgro= und investigation, including relevant criminal history.<= /li>
