Mission Statement:
It is the function of the Skokomish Indian Nation Administration Offices to ensure efficient and effective coordination of Skokomish Tribal programs and government services for the Skokomish Indian Nation and its Tribal Members. The Administration Office also reviews and administers policies and procedures for all Tribal programs and offices, as set by the Skokomish Tribal Council.
Summary of Services:
The Administration Department provides support, assistance, and guidance to the other departments of the Skokomish Organization.

EXECUTIVE SECRETARY:: Darlyn Warren, Executive Secretary, provides clerical support to the Tribal Council and General Council President. She keeps the community informed of important issues through mailings and postings. She takes and keeps files of the minutes for the General Council and Tribal Council meetings. She takes agenda items with supporting documents for weekly Tribal Council meetings. She also assists the Election Committee with the annual tribal elections

PERSONNEL STAFF: Winona Plant, Personnel Manager, assures advertising of jobs and the transition of a vacant position to a filled position. This includes set up of the interviews, reference calls, etc. Also, she maintains the Personnel Policies and personnel files. She keeps files and updates of employee’s health insurance and 401k policies, as well.

THE SOUNDER/WEB EDITOR: Mark Warren, Sounder Editor, keeps the community informed of upcoming events and projects staff are working on through a monthly newsletter. It’s mailed to all Tribal member residences. If you have articles or ideas, please contact Mark. If you aren’t getting the newsletter, submit your address so he can make sure you’re added to the mailing list.

RECEPTIONIST: Rose James, Receptionist, is first to greet the community. She routes mail and takes messages for staff as needed. She faxes, copies, and can scan documents for community and staff.

MAINTENANCE STAFF: Fred Miller, Maintenance Supervisor, Calvin Peterson, Maintenance,and Dan Cush, Recycling Technician, conduct all maintenance for all our Tribal buildings (except the Health Clinic and Head Start). They clean and provide all necessary equipment inspections. They also assist with set up and clean up for Tribal events. Dan Cush has a recycling station located behind the Tribal Center. If you have aluminum, plastics, or cardboard, drop them off in the appropriate receptacle.
Calvin Peterson and Fred Miller can be reached at extension 202. Dan Cush doesn’t have an extension number but you can leave a message with Rose at the front desk.

INFORMATION SERVICES (IS): Jason Todd and Kerry Davis oversee all computer equipment within the entire organization and assure all are in proper working condition. Plus update software needs for all staff. They keep account of all equipment and assure we keep up with ever-changing technology. They also provide upkeep of the phone systems and email accounts.

NIGHT SECURITY: Roger Pulsifer, Matthew Warren and Anthony Wilbur are the Tribe’s Security staff. They are here after hours, on holidays, and weekends to assure the safety of the Tribal Center, where most of the Tribal records and cultural items are kept.
Roger,Matt and Anthony don’t have email addresses but they can be reached at extension 2000 or 2048.

Directors' Meetings: The Tribal Directors meet the first and third Tuesday of every month at 9:00 a.m.
Holidays:
The Skokomish Tribal Buildings will be closed on these days. The buildings will re-open either the following day or the following Monday.
